Does anyone know where I can order a charger for my DR Lithium battery that does not
have a power cord needed? I know that some chargers have a plug that allows you to just
plug into an outlet. I find that the one supplied with the Rebel is bulky and clumsy for
travel.

It's a major bummer when you can't find a space to fit the wall unit
though I know what you mean, the wall units are sleek & simple.

I have the DR, and find the charger to be OK.
Bulky? Well, it's larger than it *needs* to be, I guess. Clumsy? How
so? It plugs into the wall with the cord, and the charger unit sits on
a desk or other place that's handy.
I really tend to dislike the wall-wart type charger that stays on the
wall jack. In motels/hotels, the wall jacks are often hidden, and
using such a charger is a real pain then.
I even carry a power strip with a longish cord (about 6'); that way, I
can plug in all my accessories easily.

Can't help with your request, but I can polish that turd for ya.
IF you wanna feel better, the one that came with the g2 is 3x the size
and probably 4x the weight--like a friggin laptop power supply. By
comparison, the Rebel's little charger that unhooks from teh power
cord for compact folding is pretty darned nice!

I just found one on eBay. No power cord. It has a fold-down plug that lets you just plug
the carger into the outlet directly.
