Decrease in integrated graphics memory

Hello,
I am using GA G41MT-S2. It has intel G41 express chipset dedicated to onboard graphics.
When earlier i purchased it CPUZ iwas showing graphic memory as 1024 MB. But now its 781 MB.
I reset the bios but still same result. HELP ME!!!!!
i m using win 7 32-bit....

Integrated graphics like that will use varying amounts of memory depending on what programs you have active. If you have updated graphics drivers since then (by updating manually or through Windows Update) it could have changed settings.

Either way, it's actually nothing to worry about.

I don't think there is anything wrong. Did you notice any decrease in performance ?

    though there is no change in performance.......but i am really astonished by varying stats......may be the windows xp and windows 7 works in different way

    windows 7 decreases the amount of available graphics memory,as the o.s itself requires certain dedicated amount of graphics memory for it to run.
