BTW,I had some other questions too.
Now these portable hdds that you get in the market, do they all have a 7200RPM disk in them or like say 5400 etc.

Well, cheaper ones are slower, mostly 5400. But it depends on the model : ))

Than u have small factor drives, slower @ 2.5" and slow as 5200RPM

so you mean to say that 3.5s are faster than 2.5s?
but 7200RPM is the way to go!
