Lacie 2big network 2 unit not powering up

Hello, I'm a first time user and hope someone may be able to help, I have a Lacie 2big network2 1tb unit operating in RAID1 safe mode. after a recent office move, the unit which was working when we unplugged it, has stopped operating, no lights, no action, i've tried a new power supply an d spoken to Lacie who want fortunes to recover the data but it strikes me that there may just be a connector off as a result of the move, despite us being very careful with the unit, i wondered if its possible to simply connect one of the drives to my pc and find the data, any advise would be welcome, i'm reasonably tech savvy but not an expert. when recovering raid, the recovery configuration must remain the same as the initial setup of the RAID.

You can take the device apart to ensure everything is plugged in correctly. my first assumption you already tried, replacing the power adapter.
