URGENT: Which is better?

Hi, I am having trouble choosing between two systems below:

-2010 Intel® Core™ i7-720QM Quad Core Processor 1.6GHz (2.8GHz Turbo Mode, 6MB Cache)
-ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 5470, 1GB
-4 gb ram
* my thoughts, maybe a better processor? but i noticed the speed ghz is slower

-2010 Intel® Core™ i5-520M 2.40GHz (2.93Ghz Turbo Mode, 3M cache)
- ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 4570, 512MB
- 4 gb ram
*faster processor? and much better grpahics card...?

i dont know tooo much about computers -_-
I plan to do some gaming, mostly starcraft 2!

everything else is the same... This is urgent because the offer ends this week!

Thanks for any help!

its easy, the 5470 and i7 are both better then the 4570 & i-5

the ATI mobile 4570 offers desktop ATI 4550 performance, the 5470 is slightly better.

the mobile i7 is easily a better gaming CPU then the mobile i-5

the i7 has twice the core, twice the virtual cores, and twice the cache of the i-5. Although it does not make the CPU twice as fast.
  2. ok ok cool, just confsued about why the i7 is better even with the less 1.6 - 2.8 ghz vs. the 2.9 on the i5 (Thanks for the speedy response!)

because the i7 has more cores and more cache memory.

you would run the i7 @ 2.8ghz during games, 1.6ghz when on your battery to limit the power drain.
  4. The turbo mode is designed to save battery power and use it only when wanted

Sorry one more thing i forgot to say... netbookcheck has the 4570 being better than the 5470?

    other way around

"Due to the higher clock rate (and GDDR5 support), the 3D gaming performance should be above the HD 4570 (predecessor with same TDP range)."
  6. Thank you everyone! I have ordered my system ;)... if there was a way to put the thread status to solved or somthin id do it but i dont know if there is -_-
