GT 220 issues

I recently upgrade from windows XP to windows 7 32 bit and now the GT 220 isn't working right the computer keeps going back to the default vga driver. I downloaded the most recent driver and driver sweep and tried that and that hasn't worked. It will load my background picture and thats all it is like it freezes then I have to reset the computer and use the last known good configuration. I have tried multi drivers and still having the same problems. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated because I'm about to go office space on this computer.
