Antec 902 Front Audio/What rev mobo?

I've got the AC97 into my F_audio and whenever I plug in something, nothing happens. How do I fix this? I don't have any Realtek HD Audio manager or w/e either.

Motherboard: Gigabyte 890GPA-UD3H
I don't know how to find out what rev my mobo is. There is a rev 1.0, rev 2.0, and a rev 2.1.

Thanks in advance.

More about antec front audio what mobo
  1. Sounds less like it's a motherboard revision issue and more of a cable connection issue.

Re-check your motherboard manual and read all the hookups for audio. If you're still confused let us know.
  2. make sure everything is plugged in correctly, i don't think you should be using ac97?; i can check for you in a couple of days when i get home to my pc but i don't remember using ac97.
  3. Your mobo revision # is printed on the lower left hand corner of your board.
You should be using the HD audio connection not AC97.
  4. also, on my board(asus) you gotta plug in something in the rear for the front to work
