Two Questions at top so someone notices:

Can someone explain why the Hyper Transport of the Motherboard mismatches the Hyper Transport of the processor on AMD setups? Or Did I do something wrong? Sorry if this has been answered before.

What are some things I'll be missing out as opposed to an intel setup at similar price? (Like Hyperthreading, etc)

BUDGET RANGE: $800 or lower (The cheaper the better as long as quality is maintained) Before Rebates

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming, Web Browsing and Word Processing, Video Editing

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: Need all parts.

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: newegg.com; if it is worth it to split up my order or go to a different site completely, I'll do it.

PARTS PREFERENCES: Nothing over the top. I'd prefer a PC that is not power hungry. Other customers should have had reliable experiences with parts suggested.

OVERCLOCKING: None that would require a large increase in power consumption.

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Not necessary. If you could manage to fit it into my budget, by all means do it.

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1600x900 (Can be lower if necessary, higher if possible)

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Would love for this PC to be efficient in terms of power.

When I did the search it seemed to be the best one in the price range but I guess I messed something up. It seems there are a few cheaper versions of it but I'll have to check it out.
If PhysX is important than that is good. I did not take it into initial consideration however.

ECS NGTS250-512QX-F GeForce GTS 250 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card - $109.99

That was the cheapest GTS 250 with a decent clock. The cheapest 4850 is 10$ cheaper than that but its clock is 115 MHz slower. Benchmarks show that the GTS 250 has a slight gain over the 4850.

I don't have a die-hard preference for NVidia (I actually wanted an ATI card at first). I am open for any further opinion you have :)

Fresh builds best go with a DDR3 platform as the sun has gone down on DDR2 platforms ^^ $768AR featuring 22" + HD 5770
