Power Supply Question

Will this build be able to run with 650 watt PSU or is 750 and higher only optional

If you're only going to run one 5870 then even a good 550W PSU would be able to handle it, however a good 750W one is my recommendation for two 5870s.

You could run that rig with a quality 550W PSU (like the Truepower New of that size). Get the 650W model if you want to allow for future Crossfire.
