Question aboout psus

I have a http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817153023 and i recently purchased a http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817207003. I was just wondering if that's a good upgrade from what i had . thanks

4 gigs of ddr3
3 sata drives
1 ide,
liton dvdrw ,
1 gig 4670,
p6x58d premium motherboard

is the Thermaltake TR2 430W as bad as they say?

yes! it blew up in my p4 low-power computer. sucks!
im not sure what happened but it billowed smoke, threw 2 caps off of the circuit board (found em rattling around in the casing. then it fried my mobo. so its a piece of junk and dont use it...

That PSU is overkill, are you planning to upgrade the graphics card?

^ Yeah, the XFX is an excellent PSU, but imo, it's an overkill for that set up with a 4670. Unless you plan to get a 5850,etc and CrossFire, that XFX is a massive overkill. DO NOT get that Thermaltake PSU.

i plan on getting a better gpu down the road
