Device manager showing different gpu

Hello,
For some reason Device Manager is showing An 8500gt under display adapters instead of 8400mgs which is what I really have, It's causing all sorts of problems I think I may have done it without noticing, Note: I use Rivatuna---- Any help would be apreciated
