HEY EVERYONE, THESE NEW "BLACK SOCKET" MOTHERBOARDS LOOK GREAT! However, due to the fact that these boards are based on current generation AMD 800/700 series, will these boards prevent AMD Bulldozer chips from working to there "full" potential? Thanks for any comments everyone! :bounce:

Pretty much it's just to allow you to use current AM3 CPUs and then upgrade to Bulldozer latter. There was a problem with the 900 series chipset and rather than launching them too early and recalling them like certain other companies (*cough* chipzilla *cough*) AMD held off on them. I'm guessing MB makers like Gigabyte are taking things into their own hands to make sure they have products ready for Bulldozer buy using up the existing inventory of chipsets.

Hopefully Bulldozer launches in June and then we'll see.
