SSD Not Recognised

Hi,

I have an OCZ Petrol SSD here that I originally had Windows 7 Ultimate running from.

However It will no longer boot as I think the SSD is corrupt. It had recently got BSOD. And will simply no longer boot Windows.

It will appear in my UEFI Bios but when I am booting from the Windows 7 Installation DVD and I am trying to reformat the SSD but it simply wont appear on the list " Where to install Windows ".

I have tried using CMD Prompt by entering " diskpart " then " List Disk " however I just get the message " There are no fixed Disks".

The computer thinks there is not Drives connected but yet it was recognized in the Bios.

I am using an Intel i7 based Asus P8P67 Pro motherboard .

I have tried all of the Sata Ports and tried switching from ACHI to IDE but it makes no difference.

If anybody can try to help I could appreciate it .

Thanks.
