Total= $593 after tax and MIR

My budget has lowered a bit from the last thread and I now am trying to get this build under $600. Does this look pretty good? I know I could have an x3 + 5850 for almost this budget, but I really want a quad core, and I plan on upgrading the GPU in the future.

And I think I dont have to reiterate that the X3 would suffice for gaming as you know what you are doing...
Good Luck with your build...

Couple questions involving some of neweggs daily deals today...

Would there be any downside to switching the samsung hdd for this Western Digital one?

I can get it for only $40, saving me $15.

And would it be better to get this RAM?

I can get it for $12 cheaper then the set in the first post.

^ Green drives are more of storage drives than boot drives meaning they are slow...So better to stick with the Samsung F3...

As for the RAM, that one also fine...get that...

Okay, I received everything today, and I am not sure if I should/can send the 5770 back to newegg (to get the new gtx 460 instead).

1. Is it worth it to send the 5770 back and get the 460.

2. How do I? When I click RMA on Newegg.com, and go to "refund" it says "Not eligible" for the 5770, while almost all of my other parts are eligible. It also says "According to our records, this item is still covered by the product manufacturer's parts warranty. According to our records, this item is still covered by the product manufacturer's labor warranty. This item is not eligible for a refund."

So am I stuck with the 5770?

^ Well the HD 5770 is a very good card...IMO stick with it...
By the EOY, both AMD and Nvidia will be launching their newer cards...So upgrade then...
