Will this RAM work with my motherboard?

I also have the X6 1090T cpu.

I'm concerned because the RAM says "Designed for Intel CPUs" or something like that.

Probably will, that is just a marketing trick made by intel. However if you don't need to risk than don't. There is almost the same version of Ripjaws (without X) which is the same price.

If you want to be sure, check the QVL for RAM on the ASUS website. Those are the models of ram that ASUS has tested in their motherboard. Since ASUS can't test EVERY model of EVERY brand, you could also go to the website for GSKILL, and check their configurator for memory that GSKILL has tested with your motherboard.
