idk about that but ik when i got my ssd it was slow a bit because you should do this

- run regedit.
- go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/System/CurrentControlSet/Services/Msahci
- right-click Start in the Name column, and then click Modify.
- In the Value data box, type 0, and then click OK.
- exit the registry editor.

This requires a reboot. so do it. enter ur BIOS Settings and enable AHCI. On boot Windows will detect the changes made and reinstall needed drivers. Requires another reboot.

Which firmware? How full is the drive, as well as overall capacity? I have a 128GB Vertex 4 (1.4 firmware) that is ~50% full on a SATA3 connection.

Running Crystal Disk now, will post back with the results.
But looking at those numbers initially, they seem a bit slow, not even saturating SATA2, which I know it can do. May want to investigate why that is and optimize Windows for SSD performance.

CrystalDiskMark 3.0.1 result for OCZ Vertex 4 128GB (v1.4) at 43% capacity.
