How to lock my ssd

So i have a Samsung 830 128gb and i have 60 gb for games and the rest i have for os and drivers and for some reason every time i download something it goes strength to the ssd my main pictures,music folders are on the sdd how to i move all that to a 1tb hd and lock it so every time i download something it goes straight to the hard drive. the ssd was automatically called local
drive C. Also what folders should i keep in there

You can change your download folder in your browser settings. You can also map your user folders (pictures, documents...etc) to a folder on your storage drive.

Go to these articles, and down in the tweaks and optimization section there is a couple of articles about moving the default users and program folders.
