ASUS P7P55E PRO and Accusys ACS-6xxxx

I have win7 installed on an ASUS P7P55E PRO motherboard.
In windows update site i get this optional hardware update it wants to install.
I seem to remember that this should not be installed as this motherboard as i don't have this controller as far as i know.
I have searched the forum but don't seem to find this device talked about.
Can anyone tell me what this is for and if you have taken this update with your system.
