2 DVI outs.. 3 Devices?

I am wondering what is the best way to set this up. My vid card has 2 DVI outputs and I want to go out to 2 monitors set up as en extended desktop. But I also want to send signal to my TV.

Can I use a splitter of some kind to split one of the outputs?

Spitters are usually pretty expensive, what are the resolution of your monitors?
Also, what card are you using?

Also, the TV is a 46" Samsung with HDMI as the input from the PC

or look into the ATI 5000 series cards and their eyefinity technology.

Couldn't I split the second output? One to the TV and one to the second monitor?
