I was thinking of getting two 24" HP zr24w S-IPS panels.

I currently have a FHD2400 24" TN Panel (1920x1200).

Should I go with two 27"+ TN Panel monitors (1920x1080)

OR

two 24" HP zr24w S-IPS panels (1920x1200)?

As I said, I have the FHD2400, so id be upgrading to the HPs would offer no resolution or size difference.

Upgrading to the two 27"+ TN panels would give me more screen size but less resolution.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Do you have a graphics card that supports eyefinity? If not don't get those. Depends on what your primary focus is, and if your graphics card can handle those 2 27" monitors.

You seem to be focusing on screen size rather than resolution and not indicating why you are considering both IPS and TN panels......for example, a 27" monitor can have 1920 x 1200 or 1200 x 1080 resolution but so can a 25, 24, 23, 22, 17 and 15.6

If you need color accuracy , say for photo editing, then you definitely want an IPS panel and a TN panel just won't do. TN panel users give up wide angle viewing and color accuracy for cost savings and reduced lag times.

IPS Panels like the Dell U2410 & U2711 provide the best of both worlds.
