Will this ram work on my Dell 8300?

This is the RAM, I'm looking to upgrade my old PC and want to be sure before I buy it that it will work. I'm running Windows 7 on it by the way.

I mainly use my PC for gaming also.

Suggestions for other better RAM is welcome please

You PC uses DDR 333 or 400. 1G is the stick max. Your PC can have 4G max. The ram on the link you provided will not work. I recommend you look at purchasing RAM from a PC hardware store like Newegg.

I recommend looking at 1G sticks with high ratings. Good Luck.
