Sturdy alternative to stock AM3 mounting bracket?

So, the hsf mounting bracket on my motherboard has only one clip/nob. The aftermarket HSF I ordered has room for 3 clips. I'm worried that the clips are going to snap, resulting in the hsf crushing my gpu and causing my cpu to overheat and fry.

Does anyone know of a good sturdy alternative that supports aftermarket heatsinks designed for the stock mounting bracket?

What cooler did you buy? Most better ones should include screw mounting brackets.

It's the Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro

Its not a very heavy cooler at barely over a pound, so the chances of happening would be VERY low. The plastic tabs aren't as weak as you expect.

Well, the thing is, my motherboard only has one plastic tab on each side. If one of those tabs breaks, I am out of a PC until I get a mounting bracket.
