Soooo,
I'd really hate to sound like a complete fool here but here goes..

Was doing a little research before overclocking my system for the sake of it.

Got CPU-z and on the memory/SPD tabs some info is bothering me.
It's reporting max memory bandwith of 667 MHz at frequency of 666.6 MHz. Not a problem except I could have sworn that I bought 1333MHz sticks!

I googled the model no from CPU-Z (16jtf25664az-1g4f1) and most sites there seem to agree.

Am I right in assuming this is a BIOS config fail? Or am I misunderstanding some terminology somewhere?
Any disambig welcomed!

Thanks!!

Not that I know anything about anything, but in looking into memory-type information, I believe ran across some information saying that 666.6*2=1333.2 has something to do with it.

DDR stands for Dual Data Rate,

it means the Memory can be written on the rise and the fall of the clock, effectivle doubling the speed.

therefore, it has a multiplier of 2 for effective speed.

Guy nailed that on the head!
