I can hear myself?

i just got the creative x-fi titanium and i can hear my self what i am doing or saying on my headset there is a little sound coming out which is really annoying and if there anyway i can turn this off?

there should be something like playback volume enabled or such.

Right click on sound icon - click playback devices - right click on speakers - click properties - go to levels tab - mute everything except for playback control.

no u should mute playback volume.

MEgamer - if he mutes playback volume it mutes sounds from his programs - he just needs to mute what he hears from the mic, so it doesn't annoy him.
