F3-12800CL8T-6GBRM running at 1066 on GA-X58A-UD3R

I did my first system build using 6 x 2 MB Ripjaws F3-12800CL8T-6GBRM on a Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R motherboard and an Intel i7-960. For some reason, the memory is running at 1066 MHz.

I'm wondering if anyone has a suggestion? My settings are factory default.

  1. Update bios.
  2. Actually, you have to set RAM timings and voltage manually in the bios.

Memory speed is determined by multiplier and blck speeds, which you'd also have to set manually.

Factory default's will not give you proper settings.
