Can an Asus P7P55D motherboard support 3tb hdd such as the WD 3tb caviar green. Will I be able to see the full 3tb or am I better off sticking to the 2tb hdd. I an running W7 64 bit. Thanks for you help.

The motherboard won't care how big an HDD is. You can have as many 3tb HDDs as you can fit into the sata ports on the mobo.

Cool. Do I have to do something in W7 to see the full 3tb by configuring the HDD in a particular way? Thanks for your advice.

Correction -

OS HDD - 2TB max (MBR)
DATA HDD (not a boot HDD) you can have is as big as up 2^64 of 512 byte

True. I assumed he was going to use it as a data drive being that he's already running W7.
