Greetings, I've just built a rig, Windows 7 installed and working fine, but for some reason it's not picking up my HIS HD 5770. In the device manager it only lists the onboard graphics. I've tried drivers both from the installation CD and online, but to no avail. The card is seated fine, and the fan on the card spins when I start up. It seems to keep installing drivers on the onboard GPU instead of the 5770- really frustrating. Any help would be appreciated. Here's the relevant specs:

HIS Radeon HD 5770
Asus M4A785TD-V EVO
Athlon II X4 955
Windows 7 Professional 64-bit

You installed the new gfx card but the monitor is connected to the onbard video port so you can see Device Manager.

If the card is not seated properly, there may not be full contact of the card in the slot.

After checking the installaion, while you are there, clear CMOS either via the jumper or by removing the battery for ten minutes. Also check if a BIOS update is necessary.

Hope this helps.
