Hey guys,
Im in the market for a new graphics card but im not the best when it comes to computer hardware. How do I know what graphics card will be compatible with my motherboard? the motherboard I have is the
Asus P5N-E nForce 650i SLI Chipset LGA775 FSB1333 DDR2 Mainboard
http://www.techspot.com/review/43-asus-p5n-e-sli/

Will a Gainward GeForce GTX 460 GLH 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card be compatible? and if not, what should I look for?

Thanks people!

Please list all your components...cpu, ram, psu, case, etc...
The biggest factors are going to be...1- do I have enough power to run this card.
2- will my cpu be able to fully utilize the capabilities of this card and 3- will it fit in my case....
Hope to hear back...JQ

Hi! thanks for the reply, heres the rest of the spec of the rig:

8gig ram
Intel® CoreT 2 Duo E6850 CPU @ 3.00GHz 1333FSB 4MB L2 Cache 64-bit
NZXT Lexa Blackline Performance Mid Tower Steel (Quite an open case, with what looks like plenty of room either side of the graphics card)
600w PSU

Thanks

If the power supply is a high end model like corsair, seasonic, earthwatts or pcpower&cooling then you should be fine with one card....
The cpu might bottleneck you a bit but should be otherwise a big improvement..
Your case should have no problem with fitting it in...there!
Hope this helps...JQ
