1333mhz vs 1600 mhz RAM (2x4GB)

also what is the performance difference between 1333mhz and 1600 mhz and is it wirth it to pay an extra $15 for the 1600mhz?

It actually depends on which CPU and mainboard you will be getting. Some models can't use 1600 at its full speed, so it wouldn't be worth it. Most of them will, so for $15 it would be worth it.
