Gaming graphics card for a dell inspiron 530 (not slim)

Here are the specs of my comp...
300 w (steady rate) PSU
I have the PSIe 16x slot (I think that's how you spell it)
I have 297 gb free of space
4 gb of ram
windows 7 64 bit operating system
... and I think that is all...

I just want to double check before I buy a card that won't work for me

I prebiously bought the Nvidia 9600gt card, but it didn't work... a graphics card around 60-90$$ would be nice (I need it to run warhammer online)

The ati radeon hd 5670, is your best bet. Requires very little power, and is $90~.

Nope, 200 or more is recommended, it barely uses any power, maybe 90 watts at max.

You have x16 pci-e slot, which version? 1.0? 1.1? 2.0?
I want to suggest HD5670, but most of HD5670 are 2.1, so if you only has 1.0 slot then i suggest you to grab 9800GT...

But if you still want HD5670, make sure you choose the one with 2.0 version...

Okay, that's a card, you will be fine with that card.
But, why do you want the same card as your previous one?

What about your case? is it mini/micro ATX tower?

thanks for all of the help, and i just thought that they might have sent me a faulty graphics card, which i have read, happens a lot. but i will try the radeon card, thanks for all of the help! i originally sent in that biostar card to be replaced by newegg, but instead they gave me a refund, probably my fault...

I guess your previous card was a low profile card, am i right?

The Dell Inspiron 530S is the one with the slimline case. The Dell Inspiron 530 has a micro-ATX case so the 5670 should be just fine in it.
