Ive bought a "NF61S Micro 754" does the board only support that socket type then "754"
As I have a spare "AMD Sempron processor 3000+ "but its socket "AM2".
Ive tried fitting it and the pins won't match up.

Did Amd make different socket types for the "Amd Sempron CpU"?

The processor is on the support list, shown on the link.

Socket A = 462 pins
Socket 754 = 754pins
Socket 939 = 939pins
Socket AM2 = 940pins
All the sockets above had at one time or another a different Semrpon 3000+ CPU available for them, they are not interchangeable between sockets!

Yeah.... 754 is an old and short lived socket. It was only for the first generation Athlon 64s with a single channel memory interface.
