this is rohan,
and i am going to buy a graphics card, but i want to know will 1GB graphic card slow down my computer or 512MB or 256MB card?
my specs are: AMD athlon XP 2000+ 1.67 GHz
1GB RAM

i am running windows xp

and my computer have AGP 4x and PCI slots, so which is good and fast ?????


and 1more thing, which card is good for me? nvidia or ATI?

Your processor is very slow by today's standards. Most games from the last few years will not be playable because of such.
I would recommend looking for an older used card for a good price. Something like a 7600GT/7800GS/6800GT would be appropriate for your processor and allow you to play most games over 3 years old fairly well.

i don't play very extreme games,medium type games
