I am building a PC and I want to go with 2x GTX 485s when they release them, they are rumored to be cooler and less power hungry than the 480s by a small percent. Maybe 10-15%. Anyway, I wanted to run 2 460s until they release them, but I might try FFXIV and that doesn't support SLI yet I don't think. So I am considering a single 480 as another option.

All of that doesn't really have much to do with my question, but some people might ask for other info so there you go.
My question is would the NZXT 1000W 83A@+12V be able to handle 2 480s? I heard someone saying in a review that 480s require 42A each, but I am not so sure that this is true. I ask 2 480s because they should be similar to 485s.

I could get a Corsair AX1200 but I don't think I would need that much power. and it would be so long that it would shorten the fan size of bottom intake fan. The NZXT HALE's efficiency is better than the corsair's somewhat. It stays at 92% a lot longer than corsair. But it is ATX12V v2.2 / EPS12V v2.91, and the ax1200 is ATX12V v2.31 / EPS12V v2.92. I don't really know what difference those will make.
