Hello,
i have a msi p35 neo-f mobo with a xfx gtx 285 installed. Imo my gpu doesnt produce the fps it should in games, such as bfbc2 im around 30-50 fps on high settings and 4x aa/af. in MW2 im around 85 fps highest settings.in gta4 fps is 25-40ish on high settings.

i havent used any benchmarking tools but i dont expect the results to be much different.

my cpu q9400 is oc'ed to 3.4ghz
my ram is 4gb Corsair TWIN2X PC6400C4DHX DDR2
windows 7 64
650w psu

I dont really think my cpu,psu or ram is to blame(i hope), so im wondering if it maybe could be my mobo that doesnt quite support my gtx 285

i dont expect great fps in bfbc2 and gta4. but after reading around a bit i would assume i should have a fair bit more.

i play at a 1920x1080 resolution. but turning it down to the lowest even doesnt help much. maybe a gain of 5-10 fps, which isnt worth it. because i do run the games smooth. unless i sit and monitor my fps a see a drop and my head plays tricks on me and i swear i can see it in game :p

I just read something about my gtx 285 having pci-e x16 v 2.0, and after digging around a bit about my mobo i think it has pci-e x16 v1.0a. would that have any inpact on fps. and would a mobo with pci-e x16 v2.0 perform better?

i maybe should try some benchmarking tool. which is the most reliable one?
im pretty much a novice when it comes to hardware related stuff, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

edit: should also mention i got the latest beta driver 257.15 and updated bios.
