P8P67 Pro (REV 3.1)?

hello,

Just about to start buying my latest upgrade and notice that on the ASUS website they have a P8P67 Pro (REV 3.1) listed. Has anyone heard about any problems with REV 3.0 boards?? All the current uk retailers only have REV 3.0 boards. Really don't want to buy if there's an issue!!

No issues..disregard it..I assure you all revision 3 boards are fine! Start building and enjoy

Just looked at the specs for the rev 3.1

and it would seem very similar (although worded a bit differently in places). Apart from from the accessories it says 1 x ASUS Front Panel USB 3.0 Box(es) which i assume was the box that used to only come with the DELUXE version?
In which case i'll think i'll wait a bit!

suit yourself..but, to stop the production of your build because of a useless usb 3.0 attachment seems pretty dumb to me..of course, thats just my opinion..but..im sure many would agree

change a usb3.0 Controller chip manufacturing company subsidiary "asmedia"

The 3.1 revision has a substitute USB 3.0 controller (ASMEDIA rather than NEC).
