I recently got a new hard drive to put into my computer, when i go to format it instead of getting NTFS system files option to choose from like i see most people, i get a UDF option instead. it chooses 2.10 as default but i am also given the option of 2.50, 2.00, and, 1.50. i have no idead what to choose from and not sure what the difference is between them.

it is a Western Digital 1T drive and i plan on doing a full format if that means anything lol

thanks for the help!

i was asking because i have also searched online havent had much success finding the answer

You are correct, it is an internal drive. Have you tried any of the WD disk tools? I, like you, have looked and found nothing useful. You can look at this link from WD and see if it helps.

It will walk you through the steps of using disk management to create a partition and format the drive.
I take it that NTFS is not even an option for you, is that correct?
