hi my hard drive has crashed again it comes up with a blue screen and loads of writing on it with a timer counting at the bottom i would like to no if my hard drive needs replacing because its coming to the end of its life r something else is going on. its a hitachi 1 tera byte

Just because the computer crashed does not mean that the hard drive is faulty, there are many other more likely suspects. To test your hard drive go to the manufacturer of your web site and download and run their diagnostic software. Blue screens are normally caused by either memory or driver problems (particularly video drivers).
