Hi all,
Recently ordered parts for a new machine with a biostar h61i, then managed to get a cheap 120gb SSD this morning. Upon google-ing I read that there is no ahci in the h61 chipset on a forum...
Is this really true? If so, what kind of performance loss are we talking about?
I'm just thinking to cancel the h61 and get a z77- I have had bad O/C experiences and don't want to do RAID, but at the same time there is no point in having a machine that is slowed down significantly for the sake of £10!
