Replacing cached drive with SSD - worth it? Tags: Hard Drives Dell Inspiron SSD Cache Storage Marsubleu September 8, 2012 1:38:18 PM Hello, I just ordered a Dell Inspiron 17 SE, that includes a 1Tb HDD and a msata 32Gb cache. As I don't need that much disk space, I am thinking of replacing the HDD with a 256Gb SSD: it has done marvelous things on other computers. But as ther is a cache already, I wonder if the gain will really be significant. Any idea ? Thanks More about : replacing cached drive ssd worth Can't find your answer ? Ask !
