Big difference between e6300 c2d and e6700 c2d

would i see a major jump between the 1.8 c2d and the 2.66 c2d?i useit for mainly web surfing,light gaming(spiderman web of shadows,batman arkham asylum) and dvd ripping(dvd fab,dvd shrink?
