My 9800 GT has recently failed and I am looking for a current gen replacement.
This card was amazing for what it was.

Does anyone have a suggestions on a Current Gen Replacement of either better or equal quality.

I'm not that worried about the price,

I'm just looking for something to replace it with that will give the same or slightly better performance.

Like there is no point suggesting a 475GTX or something as that's like replacing a Ford Focus with a Ferrari,

I've tried the GT240 as the numbers seemed to be rather similar but it seems to be a rubbish card.

(And it was just a quick purchase to get the system back up)

GTS250 would be better and not to expensive then there is HD5770, HD5750 or HD4850. With the HD5770 in the same performance range as GTX260

I'll have to have a look at the 250,
I've never liked ATI, so will be sticking with Nvidia
