Does anyone know of a laptop with dual DVI out? I wanted to purchase a
QUXGA monitor with 3820 X 2400 resolution. Apparently, a single DVI will
not support the bandwidth.

That's quite the lcd! What you heard is true, the max resolution a single
dvi connection can handle is 1600x1200

Your best option probably is to go with a laptop that offers a true docking
station (not just a port replicator) that has a half-length PCI slot that
could could install a secondary video card into. The IBM T40/X31 (but not
the X40) have one and the Dell Latitude series have a docking station that
would work. If that is not enough, there are some high-end solutions such
at the SideCar:

3840x2400 is WQUXGA. (QUXGA might be 3200x2400).

You need one of the very few desktop workstation graphics
cards that will specifically work with 3840x2400 monitors.
Both Matrox and nVidia offer PCI variations on their
3840x2400 compatible cards. What you need to shop for is
a laptop that has an optional base-station with a PCI
slot so that you can plug one of these workstation cards
into it.
This new workstation solution by DigitalTigers is a
little box with a high-end nVidia desktop workstation
graphics card inside of it. It is compatible with
3840x2400 monitors, and only $2,299. Have fun with it.

Oops. That's true. Sorry about that. My bad.
