I just purchased a new laptop (details below). Running Windows 7 Home premium

System I purchased:Sager NP7652 (Built on Clevo W765CUH)

- Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-540M, 2.53-3.06G
- Thermal Compound: Stock Thermal Compound-
- Graphics Video Card: ATI HD4570 512MB PCI-Express GDD
- Ram: ~ 4,096MB DDR3 1066MHz Dual Chan
- Optical Drive: ~Combo 8x8x6x4x Dual Layer DVD +
- Primary Hard Drive: ~ 500GB 7200RPM (Serial-ATA II 3

My main for the purchase is to watch HD content (Itunes, YouTube, NetFlix streaming) on my HDTV. The picture quality is great, but I'm getting choppy playback on almost all sources (Itunes, Hulu, Netflix). Not sure why this is happening. I don't think processing power, or memory should be an issue. I've been reading that Windows 7 might be causing this, but haven't found any fixes.

Anyone else experiencing this? Any help?

It doesn't seem you would have any problems based on the specs.

Have you tried updating the video card drivers?

Also, what type of network do have? Are you using a wireless N or is the notebook directly wired to the router/modem?

Haven't updated the drivers. I'll try doing that.

Wired Network. Getting about 15mbps.
