Hello,
Basically I'm wondering if a G1.Sniper Will run with 2 GTX 590 cards in SLI (4 GPU's). I've heard some ugly rumors about 590 SLI and mobo's so I'd like it if anyone could help me with this.

it will run two card well..however, there are a few issues with the 590's at the moment, as far as drivers are concerned...what I would consider is purchasing one 590, and using it for a few weeks to see how it handles..then, add the second once drivers have been released to remedy some of the problems that exist..but, that board is very capable of handling any card atm

I understand that the 6990 has some more VRAM on it and runs a lil' faster with overclocking while the 590 will drop some nukes when you try and OC it :|, my only real reason for going with the 590's is that I want to run 3D Vision Surround on 3 Monitors and at the absolute highest frame rates and detail I can get.

When I looked to see about the NF200 chipset I couldn't find much on it with that board. Sure it will run it ?

BTW,
Are there any good 3d monitors that go beyond 1080p ?
Right now I'm looking at the Alien-ware one

instead of 2x590 look in to 3 x( 3GB Palit GTX 580 )

if you in to FPS games get 120Hz 2ms monitors,something similar to this;

if you have any questions about your MB,you can ask Sin in this thread.. very nice guy;

I've been running nVidia 3D Vision since almost day 1 and I use Acer 1920 x 1080 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009222

The NF200 is a chipset that many ultra high-end P67 and X58 MOBO's have incorporated e.g. EVGA X58 Classified 4-Way SLI, GA-X58A-UD9, P8P67 WS Revolution, GA-P67A-UD7, etc.

I looked to see if your G1.Sniper had the chipset before I posted, and it does not.

Since I cannot find anyone using your G1.Sniper + SLI GTX 590, I sure the heck am not going to say...go for it no problem. It should be fine, download the drivers from nVidia, do your lucky dance, and press the power button.

Welcome to the risks builders take all of the time! :)

- @ OP
UPDATE; i just talk to Sin ..sorry bud.."I think you need an nf200 for 4 way SLI which is not available on Sniper .You can run two 6990s ",on the other hand i swear one of the EVGA rep. say you can run 2x590's in quad ,may want to call EVGA to make sure

I apologize

funny thing is...i kind of had a feeling that there might be an issue..which is why I stated you may want to consider 1 gtx 590 at first...that's why u dont choose the best answer while things are still inconclusive...well..now you know

He at the time had the best answer in my opinion, although now its a different story. So if the Sniper is out of the question what Mobo can I get that has room for 2 590's and a sound card all with a nf2000 chipset ?

No the story is still the same , apparently Sin throw me of balance with that answer (he have no experience with 590's)

Any way ,you are good to go !
"Yes. Your board is SLI capable. The GTX 590's have their own internal NF200 on the board, you do not need an NF200. You already have 36 lanes on the which allows you to dedicate 16x2 to your GPUs "

Back on topic, Thanks a lot for this answer and checking in with eVGA, I saw on a guru3d review that he couldn't get his 2x590's to work on a board and when he investigated the problem he believed it was because of the board not having a NF2000, I guess it must be a misconception with another problem mobo's have with these cards.
