For a couple of months now I have been experiencing this problem where whenever I’m downloading at medium to high speed my connection chokes. The connection goes down for my entire machine as well as all the other machines in my lan. The connection is then down for 10 to 30 s before coming up again. This happens every couple of minutes. It seems it is only this one machine that is the problem since it does not happen when I download only at one of the other machines.
I have an adsl connection routed through a D-Link home router to my machine.
I only have this problem when connected through WiFi. When connected with a wire everything works fine. I have the latest drivers but I have also tried older ones. I have also tried running in “safe mode with network”.
It is not only the Internet connection that goes down but lan connections too.
I have seen the problem both when downloading through Firefox and through uTorrent.
OS: Windows 7 Professional
Wifi: intel wireless wifi link 4965AGN
Router: D-LINK DIR-615
ADLS: 10/1
Any clue what could be the problem?
