Should run WoW just fine. My system is quite a bit less powerful than yours, and when I used to play, I played at 1440x900 (in windows mode), along with MSN, WMP, Firefox, etc. open, and almost always had 60fps (the frame rate cap).

Speaking as someone who is running WoW on a 5 year old computer, this is almost definitely overkill. To answer your question though: yes it is all compatible and yes it will run WoW on max settings/high res with no noticeable lag with the possible exception of the major cities.

I'd go towards a 5000 series card instead, but that setup'll be fine.

Ed: That's an OEM CPU, what cooling are you getting?

I don't know, should I get one? What's a good budget cooler?

Second, could I go lower on the PSU and mobo? I find em a bit pricy.

Sorry, is that for the graphics or cooling?

In regards to cooling, your cpu will explode into a fiery molten ball of lava consuming the silicone around it and encasing the world in toxic molten bile :D

Yes you need cooling. The Cooler Master Hyper 212+ is on Amazon.

err.. your link isn't working for me.

ed: managed to get it to work by looking at your BBcode.
That part is a massive ripoff on Newegg (both .com and .ca)It should be priced at around $30 or less. (I live in Australia and I can get it for $36AU) There are some other good coolers that aren't big ripoffs, but I don't actually know much in the way of good cpu coolers so somebody else'll have to help you with that.

ed 2: looks like b2 got you a good link/price on the Hyper 212+. Nevermind then.

newegg.ca links don't redirect properly in firefox. Dunno if it's newegg issue or tom's issue.

Hyper 212 plus is not worth $60. It's $30 on nicx, and yes it's compatible with every socket type.

Switch HD to a Samsung spinpoint F3 500gb or 1TB.

Also, a 4850 isn't enough for max settings, including shadows, at 1920x1200

In fact, i5 750 at 3.6ghz and xfire 5850's get's me about 45fps in maxed out WG or Dal at prime time.

Course you could just turn off shadows and instantly double or triple your FPS.
