Just bought the parts for a new computer and assembled it. The computer starts up, lights up, the fans run, but I get no video. I plugged a laptop cooler into the USB port just to test it, and the cooler powered on.
I swapped out the sticks of RAM to make sure it wasn't a RAM issue. Also, I know that the monitor I'm testing it on works, so I doubt thats the issue.
The fan on the video card starts up when I turn the computer on, so there is power getting to it.
Any ideas as to what the problem may be?

Have you followed the "No Video Output" checklist? Please list your results for each step. Also, do you have any other components than what you've listed plugged in? Any USB devices? Anything at all. If they're unnecessary, unplug them. The first few steps of the guide will have you test with the bare minimum anyway. Step 16 is important (as are all steps), if you don't have a case speaker get yourself one. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/261145-31-perform-ste...
Ask yourself the obvious questions, too. What port did you plug the monitor into? Is the monitor set to the right input? Etc.
