Current System Good for D III, MS Flight, Portal 2, HL 3, & Crysis 2?

Hello everyone,

I just invest a decent amount of money into my computer and I was wondering will it be able to play the following games well:

Diablo III
Microsoft Flight
Portal 2
Half Life Episode 3
Crysis 2

Additionally, I plan on using this computer for some photoshopping, video editing, flash development and dual booting with Linux for some development/programming work.



x58 motherboard
I7 920
MSI 1gb 460 gtx
7200 RPM HD (Will likely upgrade to a SSD for the OS and programs, with a 2tb drive for storage/media)
6 GB DDR3 RAM
24 inch LCD (1920x1080)

Some of those games we know nothing about, so no one can say if your ok. You have an i7 920, with 6GBs of ram, and the GTS460. You should be good. The only possible problem you might have is maxing EVERYTHING out in some of those games at 1080. You should be able to run all of them however.

1xGTX460 is OK... but just OK for gaming...

It would have been much better if you had 2xGTX460

Diablo 3 you should be ok if the engine is anything like Starcraft 2.
For Portal 2, Half-Life Ep. 3 and Crysis 2, I haven't seen any benchmarks or comments to comment.
MS Flight, if anything like the previous Flight Simulator, could be a resource sink, but I can't remember if it was more taxing on CPU or GPU.
