I see this combo suggested ALOT over the forums as the best 'bang for your buck' GPU solution. 5850 seems to be the upgrade path atm. Buy one now , another later to tide you over.
The i5 also seems to be recommended as the best price point. i7 usually only recommended for workstation type work (CAD CS etc)
So I figured Id gather the info here. :] Google dident net me much.
The $$ difference is around $250 no matter how I try to swing it (Im not a great deal hunter tho )
Wheres the bottleneck cap for these guys?
Is it neccesary to go x58 to squeeze every bit out?
pciex8x2 + i5 VS pciex16x2 + i7 ; Would these small differences make it worth while?
Or is this a big waste of time and money :]
