More about first build gaming
  1. Don't forget about the Newegg combos... Your Case / PSU
  2. I dont think you realized it... but you selected a MICRO-ATX motherboard. Sure, you could probly get it to work inside that Antec case, but it makes no sense. Make sure you get a regular ATX sized mother board like this:

  3. The newegg combo is part why I decided to go with the antec 902. I didn't notice the board was micro, nice catch I will look into that.
  4. whoa whoa whoa... that hd 4850 has ddr5?
  5. That is correct, I was shocked at that find
  6. That's a underclocked 4870 silly :D, it has the same core and ram as the 4870 = 4870 since 4850s have gddr3

but at that price point? isn't the hd 4870 slightly faster than the hd 5770?? omg this would sell like crazy...
  8. Here are the boards I'm I'm currently looking at, any comments?

  9. Gigabyte board is the better of the boards... IMO. If you want to Crossfire, your only option is the BIOSTAR board at x8,x8.
